I received the call of the Lord at the age of 19, being still very young, I felt the passion to win the world for Jesus, I was excited to think that my life could be a useful instrument in the hands of the Lord. So together with my wife Adriana, we decided to prepare to serve in the ministry, I did not know if my call was specifically pastorial, the only thing I did have was the assurance that I had heard the voice of God deep in my heart saying: "Come and follow me. " Being still in the third year of the seminar (we had 1 year to graduate), we started as leaders of a home group (cell) with only 6 people, that group in 1 year grew to 30 people and we decided, under the supervision of our pastors , start services in a place that was rented near a main avenue in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, in our native Argentina. There the Lord blessed us and that group of 30 brothers in a span of 5 years became a thriving church of around 200 people. We were making plans to extend to other cities, when in a mission conference that took place in our congregation I received confirmation of something that the Holy Spirit was sowing in my heart for more than 2 years: the ministry would not be only for our country, God He was calling us to the nations. That time I received a specific prophetic word that in a year God would open doors and be sent to minister to the nations. I remember telling the Lord at that moment: "I do not have contacts to go abroad, how are you going to do it, Lord? And the financing? I was perplexed, but I took that word from the Spirit and felt an immense inner peace, I knew deep down that God "brought something in his hands". One year later, that word was fulfilled, the possibility of traveling to the United States and, if he fulfilled the requirements, he became the director of the Hispanic ministry of an American church of the Assemblies of God in Covina, California. We feel God's direction at all times and we accept the challenge of residing and ministering in the midst of the multicultural environment of Los Angeles. God surprised us, the Spanish ministry that we started in that church grew in 4 years of hard work from an average of 40 people to 450, something extraordinary, Glory to God!
At the end of 2005, God spoke to me again giving me a clear vision for the Hispanic people here in the United States, it made me see the diverse needs of the Latino family and there it was born in my heart "Vision of International Faith" and together with the vision , a new time. I renounced my position as pastor of the Hispanic ministry with the economic and ministerial benefits that it meant, to follow a "dream of God" and that dream came true. It is beautiful when we can sacrifice comfort in "the altar of the dreams of God" to live the security of faith that is the necessary fuel for all vision to develop. By honoring the God of vision He honored my faith, hence the name of our church. In May of 2006 we started our services at the Edwards cinema in West Covina, renting an auditorium with capacity for 250 people, a month we had to rent 2 more rooms in that cinema for the children's ministry and daycare. Each year we rent a larger room with capacity for 350 people plus two additional rooms for young people and children. In 2007, we started our TV program "Vision of Faith with Pastor Oscar LaSalle" by the Christian chain Almavision Hispanic Network, which attracted a large audience. In October of the same year the Lord provided us with a building; a Christian school, which we adapt for the activities of the church. In 2008 we celebrated our first year on TV with a crusade at the Convention Center in Los Angeles and hundreds of people attended the event filling the capacity of that audience. Currently, about 600 people regularly attend our services, among them the bilingual service that we celebrate on Sunday morning at 9 am followed by the Spanish service at 11:30 am. Today, Vision of Faith International continues to expand by incorporating (FIET University) for the theological ministerial preparation, opening and affiliation of various works abroad.
